Since graduating from the Conservatoire d’art dramatique de Montréal in 2007, Cynthia has landed leading roles in numerous television shows and series, including Trauma, Tactik, L’Appart du 5e, Mémoires vives, Plan B, L’Âge adulte, Alix et les merveilleux, Virage, Le 422, Une autre histoire, and Classé secret.

She was part of the cast for all seven seasons of District 31, where she portrayed Da-Xia Bernard, a role that earned her a nomination at the Prix Gémeaux in 2018 in the category of “Best Supporting Actress: Annual Drama Series.”

She also portrayed Lysanne in the series Mea Culpa. On the web, she can be seen in the series Vidanges, and she is also part of the cast of Bête noire.

A strong presence on Montréal’s theatre scene, she has appeared in recent years at the Théâtre du Nouveau Monde in the productions Ấm, Le rêveur dans son bain, and Le projet Polytechnique, as well as at the Théâtre d’Aujourd’hui in Beau gars. She also took part in the productions Janette and Top Girls, further demonstrating the breadth and continuity of her theatrical career.

On stage, she has also appeared at the Théâtre Denise-Pelletier in productions such as L’Avare, La princesse Turandot, Médée, and Prouesses et épouvantables digestions du redouté Pantagruel. She was part of the original production of Yukonstyle, presented at the Théâtre d’Aujourd’hui in 2013. She also worked as a puppeteer in Alice au pays des merveilles with the company Tout-à-Trac. In 2019, she appeared in the production of Consentement at the Théâtre Jean-Duceppe, directed by Frédéric Blanchette.

In film, she portrayed Jade Bossé in L’Empire Bo$$é, directed by Claude Desrosiers, and more recently played Julie in L’Origine des espèces by director Dominic Goyer. This performance earned her a nomination for “Best Supporting Actress” at the Gala Québec Cinéma in 2017.
