Erika Soucy was born in Portneuf-sur-Mer, on Quebec’s Côte-Nord region. An author as well as an actress, she graduated from the Conservatoire d’art dramatique de Québec in 2010. She has published several poetry collections and adapted her debut novel, Les murailles, for the stage. The play was presented at Le Périscope (Quebec City), La Licorne (Montreal), and toured across a dozen venues. In 2025, she published La maison cachette, a children's graphic novel created in collaboration with illustrator Geneviève Bigué and published by Éditions de La Pastèque. In February 2026, she released De mauvais augure, a new poetry collection published by Éditions Triptyque.

As a screenwriter, Erika Soucy wrote Les Perles, a series broadcast on TVA and Club Illico, and co-wrote several episodes of the series Léo. She is currently developing the screenplay for La version qui n’intéresse personne with Couronne Nord.

Erika Soucy also regularly appears as a columnist, notably on ICI Première radio.
