Trained at the school of professional theatre at the Collège Lionel-Groulx, Marc Bélanger is a versatile actor who, over the years, has accumulated roles in numerous drama and comedy television series.

Recently, we have been able to see him play the role of Louis Gendreau in Une Autre Histoire broadcasted on Radio-Canada. He marked his presence in  District 31, for his performance of  Carl Juneau. In Francoeur (Radio-Canada/TFO), it is with the character of Luc Francoeur that the public discovered Marc’s talent. Since then, he has played on our screens in La Promesse, Toute La Vérité, 30 Vies, O’, Les Soeurs Elliot, Lance et compte, Pure Laine and Indéfendable.

In cinema, he has participated in the films Starbuck by Ken Scott, Hot-Dog by Marc-André Lavoie, 3 Saisons by Jim Donovan, Bon Voyage by John Fawcett and Vendus by Éric Tessier.On the web, we have seen Marc in Patrick Huard’s comedy series Traitement Choc, as well as his directing work in a multitude of webseries.

On stage, he has played namely in the plays Le Chien by Jean-Marc Dalpé (TNO,LNS, CNA), Le Révizor, Scrooge, Lorenzaccio at the Théâtre Denise-Pelletier, Le Chemin des Passes-Dangereuses by Michel-Marc Bouchard (LNS), Les Aventures de l’inspecteur Hector by Patrick Senécal and La Capitulation at the Théâtre La Licorne. In addition to numerous theatre tours across Canada for various shows, he joined the comedy group Les Bizarroides for a tour in Germany under the direction of original members Ken Scott, Martin Petit, Guy Lévesque and Stéphane E. Roy.

Marc also lends his voice to several television and commercial projects. In 2005, he founded the Cinécole Project, a school film festival where he directs and produces short films.
