When we take a look at Marie-Claude Guérin’s professional path, it is blatantly easy to realise how versatile of an artist she is, with the ability to express the dramatic, the tragic, as well as being gifted with an incredible comedic timing. Armed with a dancing background, she studies theatre and blooms into an actor at the start of the 2000s.

She moves us when embodying the vulnerable character Sonia Moreau in l’Échappée. On the big screen, her sensibility is noticed by directors like Maxime Giroux, Anne Émond and Denis Côté. On stage, she innately plays the absurd and comical, notably collaborating with the Théâtre du futur. She stands out as an author by co-writing the Libre Échange series, the Quebec adaptation of State of the Union. Series for which she is also nominated for a Gémeaux in 2022, for her brilliant interpretation of Marie.
