A graduate of the École nationale de l’humour in 2018, Marylène quickly established herself as one of the most prominent emerging artists in comedy.

Right out of school, she began performing at various festivals such as Zoofest and stood out in several ComédiHa! and Just for Laughs galas.

In addition to her stage presence, Marylène has appeared on numerous television shows, including Le prochain stand-up, Roast Battle, Bonsoir Bonsoir, Sucré Salé, Martin Matte en direct, and many others.

In 2021, Marylène made her radio debut on La Soirée est (encore) jeune on ICI Première. She has since been heard on Jeannot BBQ, De l’huile sur le feu, Pénélope, and WKND radio.

In 2022, she won an Olivier Award in the category “Unscripted Comedy Podcast of the Year” for Tout le monde s’haït, which she co-hosts with comedian Sam Cyr. The podcast was nominated again in the same category in 2024.

As the podcast’s popularity grew, the duo presented a live episode in front of over 1,200 audience members at the 2023 Zoofest festival. Since then, Marylène and Sam have been recording a live episode every month in front of more than 250 people.

In 2024, Marylène Gendron and Sam Cyr launched a joint show titled Séparés mais ensemble, in which each performs 45 minutes of stand-up. They are now touring the show across Quebec.
