A graduate of the École supérieure de théâtre de l’UQAM in 1999, Rémi-Pierre Paquin has established himself for over twenty-five years as one of the most versatile and respected artists in Quebec’s cultural landscape. An actor, host, and media collaborator, he has built a rich career spanning television, radio, and theatre.
He was discovered by the general public in 2005 through his memorable role as Rémi Durocher in the cult series Les Invincibles, which helped cement his status as a prominent figure in Quebec television. He went on to play numerous acclaimed roles in popular series such as Bienvenue aux dames, Mauvais Karma, La théorie du K.O., Les Pays d’en haut, C’est comme ça que je t’aime, Aller simple, Complètement lycée, Lou et Sophie, Anticosti, and Alertes: Pelletier. These performances earned him several nominations at the Gala des Gémeaux.
On stage, Rémi-Pierre Paquin has performed at several major institutions. Notably, he appeared at Théâtre d’Aujourd’hui in Presto and was directed by Denise Filiatrault in Le Schpountz at Théâtre du Rideau Vert. He has also been part of the casts of Ladies Night and Les Voisins. Deeply involved in the arts community, he co-founded the Lachine Street Theatre Festival in 1999, reflecting his commitment to cultural creation and dissemination.
In television, he also hosted the show À boire et à manger on Télé-Québec, a program dedicated to discovering local gastronomy and products. On the radio, he co-hosted Le Boost on Énergie and collaborated for several years on the show Véronique et les Fantastiques on Rouge FM.
