Sébastien Diaz

Sébastien is coming back for a second year on Télé-Québec channel with two new projects that he takes to heart: Formule Diaz, a cultural magazine that he is hosting and directing, and Format familial, a family magazine that he created, co-host’s and directs. He is also the host of Série Noire, L’obsession an after show where he receives guest celebrities and discusses the events that took place in the latest episode of the tv show Série Noire.

In addition to receiving 4 Gémeaux awards for the Voir show in the category « Best Cultural magazine », Sebastien has been awarded another Gémeaux award for « Best host in a services and cultural magazine » for the Voir show in 2011 and « Best director of a service and cultural magazine » in 2012 and 2014. In the last two years, Sébastien won more than 8 Gémeaux hosting Formule Diaz and Format Familial. He is able to view projects from different perspectives by easily transitioning from behind the camera to in front of the camera.

Sébastien was the host of the cultural magazine Voir, a not-to-be-missed event in Québec that became a benchmark, both for people in the cultural scene and the public in general. Going from video editor to television music composer, he studied Film Studies at Concordia University before becoming a journalist for many publications such as L’actualité, Urbania, 7 jours and Reader’s Digest Selection. Columnist for the Nightlife Magazine and for the weekly Voir Magazine, he also published Montréal Kitsch at Les Éditions La Presse in 2009.

We have also seen him around the globe for shows that were covering international artistic news such as Sucré Salé and Star Système on TVA channel and he also played music critic on the air of État Critique on Musique Plus channel.
