Biography
A graduate of Lionel-Groulx College in 2006, Stéphanie Dawson had the chance to workon a very diversified repertoire with several experienced directors, such as PhilippeSoldevila (Iana et le mur), Alice Ronfard (Pension Vaudou), Markita Boies (La Reinemorte), and Catherine Bégin (Cinna).
She made her debut in the Montreal industry at the 2007 Fringe Festival, with the playPendant que dehors les loups, embodying the character of Maïda. Then, it was at theJean-Claude Germain Hall of the Théâtre d'Aujourd'hui, that she performed a "regional tale" in the latest creation of d'Abat-jour Theater, Villes Mortes.
Since then, she has made several appearances on the small screen in L’Auberge du chiennoir, Nos étés III, La Promesse and Les rescapés de la justice. On the big screen, we sawher in Les manèges humains, Piché: Entre ciel et terre, L’enfant prodige and in the shortfilm La maison Hina.
