Biography
A graduate of Lionel-Groulx College in 2006, Stéphanie Dawson had the chance to work on a very diversified repertoire with several experienced directors, such as Philippe Soldevila (Iana et le mur), Alice Ronfard (Pension Vaudou), Markita Boies (La Reine morte), and Catherine Bégin (Cinna).
She made her debut in the Montreal industry at the 2007 Fringe Festival, with the play Pendant que dehors les loups, embodying the character of Maïda. Then, at the Jean-Claude Germain Hall of the Théâtre d'Aujourd'hui, she performed a "regional tale" in the creation of d'Abat-jour Theatre, Villes Mortes.
Since then, she has made several appearances on the small screen in L’Auberge du chien noir, Nos étés III, La Promesse, Les rescapés de la justice and L'heure bleue. On the big screen, we saw her in Les manèges humains, Piché: Entre ciel et terre, L’enfant prodige and in the short film La maison Hina.
