After graduating from Theater school, Sylvie De Morais-Nogueira was directed on stage by Claude Poissant (Je voudrais me déposer la tête, Bienveillance and Grande écoute), Sylvain Bélanger (Yellow Moon), Philippe Ducros (L’Affiche), Marc Beaupré (Le Silence de la mer), Geoffrey Gaquère (Toxique), Michel Nadeau (Effets Secondaires), René Richard Cyr (Les Innocentes), Geneviève L. Blais (Somnambules), Marie-Ève ??Milot (Sissi) and Marie-Hélène Gendreau (Madra). 

In 2007, she got her first role on television, Ariel, one of the leads in the youth show Les Kiki Tronic. She then worked on many youth series (Une grenade avec ça?, Il était une fois dans le trouble, Stan et ses stars) and the show C.A. IV, before landing the role of Sacha Carpentier in Yamaska, which she embodied for seven seasons. She was also in Olivier, a creation by Serge Boucher, directed by Claude Desrosiers, in District 31 (Radio-Canada) and Léo (Club Illico). 

On the big screen she worked under the direction of Stéphane Lapointe (La Vie secrète des gens heureux), Anna Karina (Victoria), Jean-François Asselin (Mémorable Moi) and Dominic Goyer (L’Origine des Espèces). Of Portuguese descent, she had the opportunity to act in Portuguese for Sylvain Archambault (Entre ciel et terre) and Samuel Barrette (Les poètes de Ferré).

She plays the role of Anne in Le Fils at the Théâtre du Rideau Vert. Sylvie regularly collaborates with the Théâtre de l'Opsis and Luce Pelletier, notably in Madra at the Périscope, and in That moment - le Pays des Cons in the Fred Barry room at the Théâtre Denise Pelletier. Under the direction of  François Bernier, she embodies Roxanne in 5 balles dans la tête at the Théâtre DuBunker.
